The last chance

King Kruvius was standing in a big deep cave of the Bat King surrounded by darkness that cowered legions of bloodthursty bats.
The bat king was so big and ancient, he coud not even fly anymore. His wings have ossified and membranes became too fragile. He was in a deep sleep.
- Oh The Mighty King of Bats! I offer my deepest apologies of awaiking you, but i need your help! Because you are my very last chance in the whole world! You lived for many generations before us all, before mihghty kingdoms and lands appeared here! You know everything! Somebody even think that you know the Secret of Life! - King Kuvius said.
The cave thundered with many screeching voices. The Bat King rattled, tried to spread his wings but they were petrified, so he only opened his big red eyes and looked at Kruvius. His eyes were lazy and careless. He didn't wanted to kill, eat or fly. The endless sleep was his only need in this world.
- My son, the prince of my kingdom became very ill. - King Kruvius continued. - He is dying. And there is no cure for that. There is no wizard nor sorcerer that can help me. The ill is unsttoppable! But one wizard told me that may be the King of Bats knows the secret of life! May be you will be the one who will help me! You are my only hope! My last chance!
- My children have needs too. - The Bat King whispered.
- I know. This why you see so many people here around me. - King Kruvius pointed at the group of cloaked people silently sitting on the ground of the cave. Silently waiting for the end of their lifes.
- Gooood. - The whisper of the Bat King became slower. - Taaake this small red bat. Don't show it on the light. The light might kill it. Put it on the bed of your son at the middle of the night and leave them alone. When the morning will arrive, you can kill the bat or send it away somewhere. Your son will not be sick anymore.
King Kruvius catched the small red bat and hidden it between folds of the mantle.
- You mean... because of this small bat my son will live?
- Yes he will live. He will live looong healthy liife... - The Bat King smiled with his devilish smile, his voice became more silent, he cowered himself with his big ancient wings and nobody could make him awake now.
King Kruvius noticed big red lights on the cave celling. Sons of the bat king awakened. He was leaving the cave, hearing horrendous death-cries of his servants, that he left to feed Bat King's children.
Kruvius wasn't stupid. He know what this red bat means. And what is "secret of bat king's life" actually is. But if it cound cure his son and make him ...alive. He will do it..

Damn....the othe PC shows different colors. Those bats at the top should be cowered by darkness. But here i see them.. i gues i don't like this texture-experiment at all.
